The Big Red Suitcase
A short film script by Rachel Pownall
Take an overloaded car, exasperated parents, and grumpy kids. Add a twisty road, some slow moving traffic and an open suitcase. What could possibly go wrong? The Big Red Suitcase is a gently humorous piece about family dynamics amid the perils and pitfalls of going on holiday.

Set in an office we follow the story of Celia, the work place bitch and her obsessive, hopeless co-worker Johnny. Johnny's unrelenting attraction to Celia, is met with rejection and mockery as she's already the mistress of smooth talking married man Steven Nudds. Celia's 'throne' is threatened when temp worker Laura joins the team stealing both Johnny and Steven's attention whilst outbitching Celia in every way. With strong sexual undertones this is a comedy that'll keep you laughing from start to finish.
